The 2025–26 Board of Education goals for Marysville Public Schools focus on creating safe, supportive learning environments where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Guided by the vision that every student will excel, both personally and for the benefit of humanity, the Board prioritizes school safety, high-quality teaching and leadership, a strong and inclusive culture, equitable funding, and responsible fiscal management. Through aligned curriculum and standards, data-informed decision-making, professional growth, and strong family and community partnerships, the District remains committed to personalizing learning and maximizing student success.

Operating Procedures

The Board of Education of Marysville Public Schools has dedicated significant time and thoughtful effort to developing its Board Operating Procedures. These procedures reflect a shared governance model and code of conduct embraced by each Board member, helping ensure consistency, transparency, and collaboration in their work. While these procedures are not formal Board policy, they serve as important guidelines that support the effective and responsible implementation of Board policies in service of our students, staff, and families. We encourage our community to review these procedures to better understand the Board’s commitment to effective governance.

The development of these operating procedures was informed by careful research of governance models from school districts across Michigan, with guidance from the Michigan Association of School Boards. We are grateful for the Board of Education’s dedication to working collaboratively and thoughtfully, always with the goal of strengthening Marysville Public Schools and supporting the success and well-being of every member of our school community.
