Superintendent Search Updates - Finalist selection and interviews
Dear Staff, Parents, and Community Members,
The Board of Education has chosen the finalists to advance to the second round of interviews for the Superintendent position at Marysville Public Schools. Interviews will start at 7:00 pm each evening. We encourage parents, students, community members, and district staff to attend the interviews. All attendees will have the opportunity to provide feedback to the board on each candidate through digital communication. All interviews will take place in the high school media center.
The interview schedule is as follows:
September 17th - 7:00 PM Ashley McCann-Markham, Jr/Sr High School Principal, Curriculum Director, Special Education Director of Peck Community Schools; Peck, MI
September 18th - 7:00 PM Stephen Doerr, Former Superintendent of East Jackson Community Schools; Jackson, MI
September 19th - 7:00 PM Karrie Smith, Executive Director of Special Education/State and Federal Programs for Marysville Public Schools; Marysville, MI
Stakeholders are invited per the schedule below to participate in a Q & A session for each candidate on their interview day. Those present will have the opportunity to submit questions. We encourage all staff, administrators, and community members to attend these sessions which will also take place in the high school media center. The times are as follows:
