Superintendent Updates

Dear Staff, Families, and Community,

As previously shared, the search for our next Superintendent has been postponed.  At a later time, a similar search process will commence with the goal of permanently filling the position. In the meantime, it is necessary to address the Superintendent vacancy for the remainder of the 2024-25 school year.

I am pleased to announce that the Board of Education has selected Mrs. Tracie Eschenburg as our Interim Superintendent, effective Monday, November 4, 2024. This arrangement will enable me to return to my role as Assistant Superintendent. It has been an honor and privilege to support the students, staff, and school board during this transitional period, and I look forward to working closely with Mrs. Eschenburg in the near future.

Mrs. Eschenburg has been a dedicated educator in Michigan since 1994, serving in a variety of roles in Port Huron and Marysville schools, including Teacher, Assistant Principal, Principal, Executive Director of Curriculum & Personnel, and Assistant Superintendent. Her extensive experience and commitment to public education will be a great asset to Marysville Public Schools as we continue the path of excellence.

On behalf of the Board of Education and the District, I am excited to welcome Mrs. Tracie Eschenburg back to Marysville Public Schools.
